feeling lots of gratitude for the music community in town. moonTV has played 13 shows since our first in Oct 2024. nine of them have been benefits, raising over $11,000 for important international and local causes and orgs. what a great giving community we have here in Bellingham!!! dang y'all. we are so grateful for all the venues and all bands that played these benefits with us, especially the out of towner touring friends who donated their time and travel to the causes. extra special thanks to @karatechurch for hosting so many of these, to all the bands who not only played but helped run the shows and promote them (looking at the team of musicians who made "From Bellingham to Palestine" happen), including the @itsbellflower crew who've played five of these shows. we set up 11 of those shows ourselves but would be thrilled to do shows with other locals out there, especially benefit shows. DM us if you are cooking something up. PS: happy to provide receipts to anyone. artists who've played these shows have been sent the receipts after the shows and we've often posted the deets. PPS: hoping to convince the band to cover this stellar REM song.

it's Bandcamp Friday! What a great time to download this awesome new all locals compilation album benefiting four orgs in Gaza that focus on the youth (link in bio). The album is pay what you can but 100% of the money goes to @campsbreakerz , @gazabirdssinging , @gazacircus_school and @gaza_skate_team - thanks to the nearly 30 local bands who contributed new and old songs to make this album amazing. @theehobby wrote and recorded this song just for the comp, so cool. thank you for coming out Saturday to the amazing new space @bellinghamhelpsaccessmusic to see ancient bellinghamster @eli_guitar_and_stuff return for a rare solo set. was so good to see old friends and think through bright memories. we are grateful for BHAM for hosting this show, @grantfairbrother1 for sharing his music and to local giant @devin_champlin_ for wrapping us all together with warmth and strength. it was fun to think through ancient times when Devin first moved to town and was playing an open mic we hosted that Eli also played before moving away to Olympia. Eli joked about how he had seen and loved, back in his bham days, so many older bands of the folks playing this show AND the folks in attendance. Also this fish guy @frankielap - genius. Would watch fishbowl waders all day long.

very excited to hop in the old ev and drive down to south whidbey for a second show with our buds @eli_guitar_and_stuff and @grantfairbrother1 its our first out of town show as moonTV! the bham show last night was so much fun, thanks to the old and new friends that came out! very grateful to @bellinghamhelpsaccessmusic for hosting and showing off their amazing community space and to @devin_champlin_ and them for the gracious generosity for our out of town buds who b a r e l y made it into town after a car breakdown on their tour.

tonight's the night! Come out for some great songwriting from @devin_champlin_ @eli_guitar_and_stuff (of @laketheband ) @grantfairbrother1 and for a great cause, benefiting @bellinghamhelpsaccessmusic in their new community space. Show starts at 7pm, $15 for the cause and artists. We play first and everyone's doing some swift sets to get you out into the spring air sooner than later. Entrance is in the alley!

so psyched for Saturdays benefit show for @bellinghamhelpsaccessmusic with golden bud @devin_champlin_ and touring friends @eli_guitar_and_stuff (from @laketheband ) and @grantfairbrother1 doors will open at 7pm and we will start our set a few minutes after, to keep the night going at a good pace. Suggested donation is $15 and it's a good chance to see all the work BHAM has put in to getting this nonprofit community space up and running. Eli is touring off of his new solo album on @anything_bagel and it's a stellar record through and through. We hope to see ya there!!!

BHAM is hosting this great evening of community and music which will see local warmer @devin_champlin_ along with @grantfairbrother1 and ourselves ( @moontv ). really excited to bring our old friend @eli_guitar_and_stuff (of @laketheband ) to town on his tour for his new solo record on @anything_bagel this will be a great night of music with @devin_champlin_ singing and old Whidbey/MT bud @grantfairbrother1 of @memoryboysmusic playing, too. this is also an all-ages benefit for (and hosted at) our new friends non-profit @bellinghamhelpsaccessmusic - come see all the great renovation work that has been done and how the community space is developing! the show is all-ages with doors ar 7pm, music starting shortly after that with everyone playing about 30min sets!!
