‘Time has fallen asleep in the afternoon sunshine’ er kåret til en av de 25 beste forestillingene 2000-2025 i Norsk Shakespearetidsskrift. Tusen takk for nominasjon og til jury. ‘Time has fallen asleep in the afternoon sunshine’ has been selected as one of the 25 best performances of 2000–2025 by Norwegian Shakespeare journal.🙏 Norsk Shakespearetidsskrift inviterte i fjor leserne til å delta i en kåring av de beste norske teaterforestillingene etter årtusenskiftet. Kåringen baserer seg på nominasjoner fra deres abonnenter, som så igjen er tatt opp til diskusjon i en fagjury på syv personer. (www.shakespearetidsskrift.no) ‘Time has fallen asleep in the afternoon sunshine’ ble først vist under Playground festivalen ved STUK Kunstencentrum, samarbeid med 30CC og Bibliotheek Tweebronnen i Leuven, Belgia, november 2010. Første forestillinger i Norge var under Marstrand vol.IV ved Black Box teater & Deichmanske Bibliotek Grünerløkka i Oslo, mars 2012. Det er mange utøvere & bøker å takke for samarbeidet. Thank you all books, near and far, for being part of this work.

I forestillingen All you have to do is die gir Mette Edvardsen og lysdesigner Bruno Pocheron stemme til dette nattlyset. Hva har lampen å fortelle oss? 🗓 20.–22. mars 19.00 Sikre deg billetter og les mer – link i bio! 🎟️

On this day, 22 February 2019, Varamo Press made its first public presentation with a double booklaunch at @mdtsthlm in Stockholm: Not Not Nothing by Mette Edvardsen + Something Some things Something else by Jeroen Peeters, both books designed by @michaelbussaer . These two publications were the beginning of Varamo Press, founded earlier in 2018 in a café (Le Phare) in Brussels. We now have 18 titles published, with number 19 on its way into print at this very moment. Proud and grateful for all these beautiful collaborations with each and one of you! So happy to see these works find their way onto the page and into the world. 🙏 Photos: @cillian.oneill All info about the books, where to find them and upcoming events on the website: @varamo_press #jeroenpeeters @michaelbussaer @jozef.wouters @manentesara @jerezmariajerez #edurnerubio @kimete @isabeldenaveran @julienbruneau66 #jonathanburrows @annejuren @cattravelsnotalone @v_v_hirondelle @jannecamillalyster @jonrmoe #xongcollection @deborahrobbiano @thomasvanherck #filieptacq @gambinimagic

SUR LES BORDS Watt #9 dance & performance magazine Watt + T2G Théâtre de Gennevilliers Edited by Charlotte Imbault & Frédérique Ehrmann Very happy to be part of this beautiful bilingual publication and for the invitation to be in exchange with Simon. <3 ‘Appuis’ From English to French, Simon Asencio and Mette Edvardsen go back and forth between their respective readings. Phrases resonate on their own or alongside others, opening up a written staged situation of what surrounds them and accompanies them in every day life. Both of them work between orality and writing. While Mette Edvardsen mainly writes for the stage and is co-founder of Varamo Press publishing house, Simon Asencio uses literature in his performative settings and exhibitions. @simon.asencio @charlotteimbault @revue.watt @t2gennevilliers #watt #surlesbords #revuewatt #performancepublishing

This arrived in my letterbox today! Thank you all for the conversation and questions, and for making this book! 🧡 ‘Lives Shaping Work Making Life’ initiated by Xavier Le Roy edited by Giulia Casartelli, Daniel Cordova, Livia Andrea Piazza published by bruno (2025) b-r-u-n-o.it (Venezia) ‘Lives Shaping Works Making Life’ documents a series of 24 public conversations entitled «Practices: Strategies and Tactics», initiated by Xavier Le Roy and hosted by the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies in Giessen, between November 2022 and November 2024. Between interview and conversation, the encounters feature artists, theoreticians and cultural workers, investigating how their work shapes their life, and how their life shapes their work. #giessenuniversity #xavierleroy #liviaandreapiazza #brunobooks @books.bruno #booksonpaper #publishing #performingarts
