Book cover and illustrations I’ve made for Hotel Kosmos, a beautiful children’s book by my friend and writer @yelenaschmitz , published by Querido. @querido_kinderboeken
Hotel Kosmos is a poetic story about 11-year-old Maia, who spends a summer at a seaside holiday park where everything, from the bowling alley to her parents’ relationship, seems to be falling apart.
I really enjoyed building the visual world of this story, bringing to life all the graphics and tiny paper notes the main character discovers along the way.
