Réka Csiszér @____v___i____z___ is a Hungarian-Transylvanian vocalist and multidisciplinary artist working across music, theatre, and film, moving between composition, improvisation, and extended vocal techniques. Radwan Ghazi Moumneh @radwanghazimoumneh is a Lebanese artist, producer, and musician based in Montréal, known for Jerusalem In My Heart and his ongoing work with voice, sound, and questions of identity and displacement. The material was developed through performance, then recorded in Montréal in late 2025. Using voice, cello, buzuq, rababa, electronics, and field recordings, they keep the palette sparse and tense: pieces that stretch, hold, and occasionally fray. The work stays close to Le Révélateur, but doesn’t follow the logic of a conventional score. It runs alongside it, maintaining a distinct structure. Recorded and mixed between Zurich & Montréal in November 2025 and February 2026 by Radwan Ghazi Moumneh. Mastered by Harris Newman @harrisnewman12 . Lettering by Hatem Imam @hatem_imam . Out today on Asadun Alay Records: Le Révélateur by Réka Csiszér @____v___i____z___ & Radwan Ghazi Moumneh @radwanghazimoumneh (AAR 004) is now available on vinyl and digital. The project began as a live cine-concert for Philippe Garrel’s 1968 film “Le Révélateur” and developed gradually through a series of performances before being recorded between Montréal and Zurich in late 2025 and early 2026. Using voice, cello, buzuq, rababa, electronics, and field recordings, the duo developed the material through improvisation before recording it in a more fixed form. The music remains closely tied to the atmosphere of Garrel’s film while avoiding the structure of a conventional soundtrack. Réka Csiszér & Radwan Ghazi Moumneh will be touring the project this summer, with additional dates to be announced soon. A Montréal release performance with a projection of the film is also planned for October. We also want to thank A Closer Listen @acloserlisten for their generous review of the album and interview with Radwan. They write: “What Csiszér and Moumneh achieve is not an interpretation but a coexistence. Their music inhabits the same liminal space as the film, where sound and image drift alongside one another without resolution. Through a dense weave of sound and imagery, it explores the intersection of folklore, spirituality, and popular culture, where pagan rites meet Catholicism, nature meets rural magic and ancient musical traditions collide with their contemporary transformations. @____v___i____z___ is the avant-garde solo project of Hungarian Transylvanian multidisciplinary artist Réka Csiszér, in which she delves into the depths of Eastern European melancholy, blending post-industrial textures, ghostly glossolalia, the darker shades of Hungarian folk, and audiovisual noir. A raw annihilation to the lunar plexus, the Berlin-based duo @iamchainsaw of Ilia Gorovitz and Asja Skrinik is a relentless fusion of industrial, punk, noise rock, and metal, crafted with the precision of a sonic weapon. Gorovitz’s ruthless drumming an chors Skrinik’s aggressive shrieks and guttural vocalisations, riding on dissonant layers of droning soundscapes, mechanical hums, and shattered metallic crashes and alternating between fierce outbreaks and moments of eerie, atmospheric build-ups—a sojourn through industrial wastelands with the septic beauty of a rusty oil sheen. @solo.operator is multiinstrumental improvisational one-man band. Live recorded samples and loops of saxophone, drums and effects used to build a polyrithmic, algorithm generated compositions with respect to postmodern practices like chaotic feedbacks, repeating and distorting, spontaneity and recursive self-referencing. @flschmnschn is a Berlin-based duo performing live experimental electronic music, drawing on downtempo, leftfield, and dub techno. Their sound blends intricate rhythms, live looping, spoken word, and unconventional synthesizers—raw and gritty, yet deeply groovy and spiritual.
