Live verwandelt sich rohe Maschinenenergie in ein intensives Ritual aus Spannung, Entladung und Befreiung, zwischen Noise-Zeremonie und dem kompromisslosen Drive des Industrial der 80er. Wie aus Albträumen und unbekannter Düsterheit entsandt, zeichnen die Arbeiten von Maksim Klopfstein dunkle, atmosphärisch dichte Geschichten nach: Storytelling als feministische Praxis, um starre binäre Systeme aufzubrechen und neue, mehr-als-menschliche Verbindungen zu denken. Geister, folkloristische Wesen und verstörende Bilder dienen dabei als Wegweiser. Her sets weave through a wide spectrum of genres, ranging from post-punk, wave, and electro to EBM and techno. We are in touch since the epic remix she did for @blurinside and @ottomangruw LP on @khoinix and we were lucky enough to cross paths at the last edition of @ombrafestival . Hoi. It took me quite some time to finally release my cassette album Mgła. It’s a collection of darkwavey compositions from 2021, which back in the days helped me to process a lot of stuff. It feels weird to release it now, as a lot of moods and emotions are hitting me just like back then as I recorded those songs. The beautiful cover art was designed by my dear @orson.egloff You can grab some copies on my bandcamp or at Umbo on 27th of January release night. I’m very happy to share the stage with my inspiring @blanchebiau and @kerzn_ Hope to see you there friends. The fog is back here again, in different contexts, but firmly the same. Trostlos.
