How to dress an NPC? Stop Being an NPC evolved into Are You an NPC? And with that shift came very concrete questions. What colors does an NPC wear? Something generic? Something overly recognizable? Should the face be visible? The hair? What about protection? Tech funtionality? If the body is constantly on the floor, the costume will get dirty so what about durability and versions? and BRUISES became part of my skin. The first time I met Max was at his @hgkbasel_doingfashion BA presentation, shortly after I arrived in Basel. In that moment, I knew I wanted him on my team. We worked very hard for 3 months, he became a key collaborator not only in costume design but always super generous & ready for everything. We ended up developing two costumes between April and June 2025.
