Claire Kang (@glossyfig ) is a multidisciplinary Art Director and Designer based in Los Angeles, oscillating between the realms of the surreal and tangible in her work. Her creative emphasis spans from photo art direction, film, 3D motion, experimental world building and beyond. She’s currently a Global Art Director at Nike, leading the lifestyle dimensions. Two weeks since the Us By Night Festival — I’ve finally had some time to decompress and reflect on it all. A HUGE 🖤 thank you to @usbynightfest and @rizon_parein for inviting me to speak at this year’s festival in Antwerp. I was originally set to have a talk here in 2020, so it felt extra special to finally make it this time around. (Thank you Rizon!! ) 🌐 Big hugs to the entire UBN team for creating this incredible nocturnal design festival. The energy was kinetic and invigorating. Connected with so many talented designers and artists—some familiar faces, and some new friends. It was inspiring to see not only what everyone is creating but also the processes behind their work.
