This is a band you should be listening to and Tim Kinsella is ready to tell you why. As if the 60+ page booklet from the grammy nominated boxset wasn't enough, the folks over at Secretly Frequency podcast have invited Kinsella Back in the mid-nineties, a group emerged from St. Louis, a fellow Chicagoan and friend of the band, to guide us through conversations with the members and other folks who were involved in the scenes and movements. Over four albums and a few EPs, the band's sound developed into elaborate, experimental, baroque songs, influenced by the world around them and delving back into prog, sixties art rock, and beyond.
90 Day Men were not ahead of their time, they were of a different world entirely; their discography, and a handful of previously unheard songs, were compiled into a five-LP which we dropped in 2023. We also have a new deluxe version of their Critical Band LP that includes an entire additional unreleased LP as a bonus.

The 90 Day Men: We Blame Chicago boxset was recently nominated for a Grammy. Massive props to Rebeka Arce and Farbod Kokabi on their Numero Group design debut. It's been an awesome ride working on this set and can't wait to cap it off while capping off the whole year next month at Empty Bottle here in Chicago.

Forged by Midwestern teens amid a late-90s spike in angular indie rock, the band wrote itself into the lexicon of Chicago music history.
