You Are Here. A phrase you’ve seen a hundred times — on shopping mall maps, in that meme with Earth floating in the solar system, or buried in your copy of The Power of Now. But Pilot’s take is clouded — entangled in existentialism, wrestling with rootedness. Is it always necessary to be present? When can escapism offer clarity? You’ll hear from designer Matthew Prebeg, who explores digital liminality as an opportunity for reflection and reorientation. Writer Valerie Estrina leans all the way into the messy middle in What the Hell, Sure — reminding us that sometimes the best you can do is to throw your hands up and keep it moving. Comedian and media entrepreneur Kareem Rahma embraces escapism for what it is — turning absurdity into clarity, and showing us what happens when you let go of the need for meaning entirely.
