Introducing our new record label, Program! It seems like the natural progression for us to step into a label of our own where we can support some of our local treasured artists. Our first release is none other than one of our collective favourites, Gregor. We heard his album Songs for springs (and other things) when it was released at the beginning of the year and wanted to make sure it saw a physical release. Songs for springs (and other things) is a meditation arising from tactile percussion comprised of springs, nails, plywood and piezoelectric transducers. The transducers transform a miniature and faint sonic world into an expressive and unusual landscape. Traditional instruments follow suit to sculpt motifs blending elements of jazz, musical theatre, avant-garde and modernism. Gregor’s Songs for springs & nails, piano, electric bass, abandoned guitar and voices Vol. I will be released physically on October 8th through Bandcamp (link in bio) and our website. Pre-orders and the digital files are available through Bandcamp now.

Gregor — “Live from Chinatown” My dear friend Danny Cohen provoked me to perform Milk Thistle Salmon Blush live and in full on the street while he documented it. The film reminds me of two things: how much is always happening in synchronicity, and how many people wear maroon. The link is in my bio, we hope you enjoy it 🫶🏻
