Retour en images sur le workshop du 4-5 mars 2026: Machines à bruits: introduction à la fabrication de synthétiseurs DIY! [DEMO70] 🌊 Dans cette DEMO, nous présentons les recherches et méthodes de création derrière la réalisation de l’exposition « Quand les flots bleus de la rivière et la pluie de la haute-ville atteindront la galerie : Essai sur les débordements ». Cette exposition a été réalisée dans le cadre du projet de recherche « Nous sommes tous des astronautes : Scénarios et prototypes pour des temps extrêmes » (NSTDA). L’équipe de développement est une collaboration entre la professeure, artiste et membre cochercheuse @mariechristianemathieu , et les membres étudiants au deuxième cycle de l’École d’art de l’Université Laval, @jonathancantindemers et 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹 (@4rtvisa ). - ALERTE WORKSHOP - inscription et évènement Facebook en bio ✨ ___ Ce workshop sera dirigé par Vincent Isabel et propose une introduction aux bases de la lutherie électronique DIY à travers les circuits électroniques. On se rencontrera au Fab Lab de la @charpentedesfauves à Québec, dans le contexte de leur 5 à tart! Nous construirons ensemble un oscillateur sonore à partir de la puce 40106, un circuit intégré emblématique du DIY audio. À la fin de l’atelier de l’atelier, chacun·e repartira avec sa propre machine à bruit. Aucune expérience préalable n’est requise. Le workshop se fera en deux soirées: 4 mars 17h à 20h (prototypage) - introduction aux bases et aux composantes électroniques - lecture guidée du plan du circuit - prototypage libre 5 mars 17h à 20h (assemblage) - finalisation du circuit à souder - Introduction à la soudure d'électronique sur pcb - Petit jam Le matériel sera fourni au workshop même Le groupe se limitera à 10 participant.es, me contacter sur instagram @4rtvisa pour voir si on peut faire une exception!

Today Jan 11 at 6pm PST, marks the closing performance of Program 2 of interplay_2026 @interplay_arts and the final night of the festival’s online performance program. The works featured integrate playful audience interaction with existential philosophy responses, live DIY sound art in home-style performance settings, and Iranian diaspora storytelling through intimate desktop performances that unfold gently and powerfully in real time. This moment feels especially important given the current reality in Iran, where recent government-imposed blackouts have cut off phone and internet communication between Iran and the outside world. We stand in solidarity with Iranian citizens and Iranian-Canadians who are deeply impacted by this disconnection from their families and communities. We hope you’ll show up to support the Iranian artists in this program and help further amplify their voices during such a critical time. Last night was such a blast. I’m feeling incredibly proud of the artists and so moved how we opened the festival! Seriously it is everything that I’ve dreamt of for live online performance, for it to feel so engaging, live, playful, meaningful, soul-nourishing yet, risk-taking, and breath-taking! 
 Tonight we will premiere Program 2 of @interplay_arts 2026, featuring works that integrates playful audience interaction with philosophical responses, live DYI sound art in homestyle performance, diaspora storytelling with intimate desktop performances that unfold gently and powerfully in real time.
 Program 2 premieres tonight at 7pm PST, with another presentation on Jan 11 6pm PST (Sat).
