A few highlights from last weekend at @upliftedtitans Non-gendered Strength Comp! Little by little over nearly two years my strength has improved. I have a long way to get to my goals but being surrounded by such a supportive, amazing team and community in this gym helps motivate me to keep going See ya next year #TransStrong

Second place in my second ever strength comp!! A year ago, I lifted a 30kg Atlas stone onto a platform and felt such an achievement In 2025 I lifted 75kg! I cannot thank @upliftedtitans enough for running Scotland's only non-gendered comp and to @sam_uplifted for believing in me for nearly two years of my strength training journey 😭 #TransStrong

The opening set was a b2b with Alice Gas and 99Jakes that awoke something dormant inside me I'd not touched a piece of DJ software in years, I hadn't felt motivated, but something about those 20 minutes gave me the spark I watched more and more lockdown stream club night sets over the proceeding year. Until the point I decided "why not get some decks and try to do something like this?" Girly, Sparkly & Obnoxious Vol.2 is the culmination of that dream for me This is the closest I've felt like I pulled the energy from those mixes and made something of my own that could stand alongside them It's chaotic, it has zero chill but that's me. It's a long one be prepared I'm on a bit of an emotional comedown today but still feeling grateful for everything and putting it into perspective About a year ago, I submitted a mix that led to @darkcoretruth suggesting a B2B at a rehearsal spot, then a @queeringtechno Pride slot in July followed by KittyX in August Since then I've been a little quiet on the public performance front, some personal traumas became directly tied to Glasgow nightlife in an unexpected way and still having no answer as to why has made it difficult Fast forward to Hogmanay, where @swedgermusic asked me to be on the first School Nite Sessions the next month and I've been slowly getting myself back out there Soon after I got in touch with @a0ifeo about being on the first @watershed.club which I thought was going to be my sole thing before I took another long break but Angels of Glasgow fell into my lap I wasn't expecting to do two slots in May, but I'm so so so grateful! I've been very proud of the work I've done for all three sets I've done this year so far. Sharing music I love with people who have been responding so well to it on the dancefloor I do still feel like a hobbyist at this thing, with my physical health the way it is? I'm very limited in what I can actually do. I can't get out every weekend or hustle for slots. My heart literally can't take it So every moment I get behind a pair of decks publicly is a precious gift, given to the room Thanks again to everyone who's been so sweet and kind about me, love you all

This time last year I was dealing with a mystery pain in my sides/hips that was preventing me from training A year later I'm getting 115kg up on a silver dollar deadlift for a single rep! Progress is slow, I probably have a complex developing about my upper body strength but slowly and easily does it Thank you again @sam_uplifted for always believing in me over the last few years of lifting 💕 #TransStrong
