Miss Cabbage is a trans-feminine DJ from the highlands of Scotland, who now lives in Glasgow. She warps textures and ferocity while layering intense, mind bending bass with ethereal euphoric energy. While her sound is largely shaped by her need to take up space as a non conformist and extend the parameters of queer nightlife, it has no boundaries.
On a quest to demonstrate her artistic versatility and identity, Miss Cabbage transmits melodies that are all-encompassing. However, Techno and Hard Dance break through as the primary characters.
She sets out on a journey to blend gentle softness with harsh potency. As a birth child of the Glasgow queer scene, she is forever writing a love letter to them. She is a resident of @ponyboyglasgow which has been integral to her sonic development. Their party’s explore a multitude of themes through which she is able to fully immerse herself sonically and visually while telling a story with each set. Miss Cabbage encompasses the reality of being queer and In doing so, carefully gift-wraps the sharp edges of the queer experience in a pussy pink bow, to demonstrate the way queer joy and community can help to remedy the pain that comes with a largely transphobic world.
