A voice sings you through the confusions and the laments of love, barely understandable yet so recognisable, because it seems like it's coming from your own mind. And then it lets the beat explode, not just once, but for as long as it takes to pierce the dark clouds. Her music - commonly described as hypnagogic, sensual and raw - draws inspiration from many places, such as ASMR, soul, ambient, jazz and film music scores. RAY LWT01 - “A Brave New World” [PLOR010] Introducing RAY LWT01 with his most ambitious project to date, coming out next week on Plor (03/04/26). RAY LWT01 is a songwriter and sound artist currently based in Amsterdam. His project channels the unreachable into a skilfully orchestrated collection of grungy pop letters to the world. It’s fun and straight to the feels, it’s rich and yet you can navigate his projects without loosing sight on the horizon. Everything will be alright, and until then, we might as well serenade a little.
