RAY LWT01 - A Brave New World A whirlpool of white noise and crushed voices might sound like a dark sky, but RAY LWT01 makes the storm sound cool. Here's "A Brave New World", a collection of romantic hits interlaced with recordings of forgotten nights. It was made not so far from a club, with a guitar in the parking lot. A voice sings you through the confusions and the laments of love, barely understandable yet so recognisable, because it seems like it's coming from your own mind. And then it lets the beat explode, not just once, but for as long as it takes to pierce the dark clouds. "Becoming You" Val Clipp's new album is out on Plor. It is available on all DSPs, Bandcamp, and Nina. Fresh, "Becoming You" is Val Clipp's shiniest album to date. Higher Frequencies, riffs of hope and an intuitive exploration of grooves. Each track leaves a lot of space for a growing sense of certainty. Val Clipp extends the classic structure of a pop instrumental and punctuates his work with breaking silences, those silences becoming spots of observation in "aero", or quick stages for the addictive moans of "stolen". With "Pave Review" - released in May 2022 on his own imprint Off Center - Val Clipp released a true car chase. It was anxiously erotic and anticipative. "Becoming You" complements his previous instrumental work by showing a new posture. After exploring the grips of fear, we are presented with the possibility of wandering.
