Rooted in the heart of San Francisco, this short film marks Eva Rose Santos’(
@402oz ) first directorial project—a deeply personal tribute to the city that raised her and many of her loved ones within the community. With a local lens and the authentic Bay Area soul, “From Frisco, with Love” captures the quiet strength of true admiration and the unwavering support of best friends who share the importance within these values. Shot and crafted alongside filmmaker Erik Saevi (
@eriksaevi ) this debut is a celebration of friendship, identity, and the beauty found in everyday connection-outside of romantic relationships.
“From Frisco, with Love” emphasizes symbolism in wise words of Lao Tzu —“being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” In coordination, Eva S. points into the perspective that throughout life and even before a partner at times, your closest friend will always show you the love you deserve.
