i could’ve copied down so many journal entries to use as caption but decided against bc at the end of the day this is my crown, my journey and i don’t feel the need to explain myself. just trust that it was time, locs were all i’ve ever known but im excited to learn more learn something different about myself. i love my locs and everything they have taught me and protected me from for the past 17 years but in this moment ive never felt more free.
