SIDELINED is a family dramedy that follows mixed-race sisters, Amber and Rosa; both grappling with their appearance, personal choices, stereotypes, and what it means to belong to different cultures.
The project boasts a rich blend of heart, character, levity, vulnerability and emotion that made this an exciting yet challenging creation, especially to get it all right. One of the keys to our success has been through the incredibly committed efforts of our talented ensemble of actors.
@buukasa plays AARON so comfortably, confidently and charismatically that he made the role entirely his own. Such poise, charm, passion and responsibility throughout his performance and his approach to the role.
@elliotgoodhill plays JOSHUA, the essential piece to any family puzzle and a warm bright light across our production and especially comedic beats of the film.
