The moment my legs almost stopped, but my heart filled up 🖤
I can make every excuse: it was too warm, I lost my fitness from LA, etc.
But we finish what we start no matter the circumstances. Putting my name on my vest/singlet was the best decision
Total strangers shouting my name and cheering me on was what I needed to keep going
I shed some tears out there (like the first pic), but it was tears of joy. I look back at these moments eternally grateful - to be able to push my limits, to be outside, and most importantly be alive
Not sure what the next running goal is but that hasn’t stopped my mind from running. Onto the next adventure 🫡
Bis später @wmtrc2023_innsbruckstubai !
🇦🇹😘👋
Humbled, grateful, inspired, and honored are among so many words I could use to describe the World Championships. Over 1,300 people from more than 60 nations came to Innsbruck for 4 days of racing: Vertical Kilometer, Short Trail, Long Trail, and Mountain Classic (Up & Down)
The world’s best came to compete and bring glory to their nation, but not everyone can reach the top. But what makes the world’s best so great isn’t their speed or their accomplishments, it’s their mindset and attitude. They gave it their all for their country and they never gave up. Even those who could not finish continued to support their teammates on the course - this is true teamwork
I’m so grateful to every athlete I’ve met this year and saw again from last year. The wisdom and encouragement you’ve shared is priceless. I couldn’t get a picture with everyone but the memories are forever. And I’m glad I had some extra gear to swap this time! 🇺🇸🇳🇿
None of this would be possible without our leader @lauriephai , our coach @franckcharles7605 , our physio @florencegle70 , and the athletes @a_ammarith , @jeanjacquesmok , @dimitrithiounn , @kedyz , and Jean-Luc. The race or result doesn’t matter - what matters is representing our country proudly 🇰🇭. We ran as a team, cheered as a team, and celebrated as a team 🍻
And a final thank you to Innsbruck, the race organization, and volunteers. We wouldn’t have so many exciting moments without y’all
A weekend in Germany, a week in Austria, a day in Switzerland, and a lifetime of memories!

There isn’t a better picture to describe how I’m feeling on this #MedalMonday. I say it often but I meant it every time - I’m overwhelmed by the support from both the running community (local and social media) and all of my friends and family, who take a genuine interest in my passion for running (even if I bore them 😂). Thank you everyone for the encouragement every day. Thank you for all of the kind messages. And most importantly, thank you for letting me be a part of your lives and letting me share mine! ⠀
⠀
I was all smiles at the end, but I gave the @thewoodlandsmarathon everything I had without hurting myself (i.e. hitting the wall). I couldn’t have a race like this without my training partners. The consistency was the foundation for the strength and the self-confidence to trust my training. ⠀
⠀
There’s so much I want to unpack and discuss (maybe a blog? 🤷🏻♂️), but I’m still somewhat speechless. However, I can finally say I am qualified for the Boston Marathon. And I will be RUNNING the Boston Marathon!! 🦄💙💛 (whenever the registration window for my qualifying time opens of course!)

April was a big month for my coached athletes and @training.pr members, and the results speak for themselves
Oscar Castillo - Brooklyn Half 2:05
Hector Delgado a OKC Half, 1:42
Ferm Lopez - Big Star Half, 1:44 (PR)
Caroline Blevins - OKC Full, 3:57 (PR)
Pim Kumkerd - Big Star Half, 1:41, OKC Full, 3:39 (2xPR)
Sterling Brown - Crescent City Classic, Party Pace
2 races and 2 PRs for Pim, She’s not slowing down. And Sterling showed up to CCC 10K doing exactly what Sterling does 😄
This is what consistency builds. Week after week, workout after workout - it compounds. These finishes and PRs are proof that the process works
