Shoutout to the @rolandglobal SP-404. Less than 9 months ago I invested in one, not knowing it would become one of the best decisions I’ve made for my music.
This machine really changed how I move. I’ve been able to travel with my sound, from LA to Chicago and back home to VA, all while keeping the creativity flowing. No studio needed, just ideas and execution.
It also opened the door to a whole new community of producers. Different styles, different approaches, same love for the craft. I’m still learning, still experimenting, still finding new ways to push it.
This my first official 404 Day and it won’t be the last.

When i first started producing years ago i just wanted to be great like @pharrell@timbaland@binkthehumblemonsta@nottzdaruler but i knew I had to be different and separate myself somehow. I just used my love for hip hop, sports, anime, games and just growing up in Hampton as my guides.
Still got ways to go. Lot of pressure and eye balls on me but I’m built for it “i ain’t no punk”
Unk almost cursed me out from the last video 😂😂😂😂 damn remake beats out here 😂😂😂😂 decided to roll with my favorite Jay-Z song that he produced instead.
I can’t describe how i feel about this past weekend.

30 years of The Coming. A whole storm bottled into one moment
This wasn’t just an album… this was an arrival. Busta Rhymes came in like a force of nature, voice cutting through speakers like thunder, energy on a level nobody could match. The visuals, the flows, the charisma… it felt like hip hop opened a new dimension.
For the culture, this showed you could be different and still dominate. Animated, aggressive, creative, unpredictable… and still elite.
For me, it hit even deeper being a huge A Tribe Called Quest fan. Seeing Busta come up through that circle, that Native Tongues energy, and then step out and become this… it showed me how far individuality can take you while still being rooted in something real.
It taught me that presence matters just as much as skill. It’s not just what you say, it’s how you deliver it even now as a producer.
30 years later and that energy still feels ahead of its time.

A Tribe Called Quest means everything to me. That sound, that soul, that balance… it shaped how I hear music and how I create. I’ll always honor that.
Hampton, VA… the whole 757… y’all been solid from day one. Every show, every opportunity, every moment of support… I carry that with me.
These past few years been life changing. Being mentored by Bink, meeting people I grew up looking up to, and stepping into new spaces… it’s all been part of the journey.
So with that being said…
I’m stepping into my 10th beat tape.
I’m asking for patience while I lock in. I know there’s bookings and opportunities, and I appreciate it all, but I’m in album mode right now.
This one is to honor Tribe.
This one is to honor Phife.
This one is to honor growth.

Some albums don’t scream… they slide in, smooth, calculated, and deadly with the pen.
Kollage by Bahamadia is one of those.
This album taught me restraint.
Not everything gotta be loud to hit.
The way the drums knock but still breathe…
The way the samples feel like they’re just floating in space…
And her delivery? Calm, sharp, surgical.
No wasted words. No extra energy. Just precision.
This project really shaped how I approach beats.
Especially that boom bap pocket where everything sits just right not rushed, not dragging… just cool.
It showed me you can be confident without overdoing it.
You can create presence without forcing it.
That balance between minimal and impactful?
I chase that every time I cook up.
This ain’t just an album…
this is discipline in sound form.
