This project is so close to our hearts at @denolagreyconsulting .
When @daratreseder commisioned us to help celebrate Zoë Asta’s 10th birthday, we knew it had to honour tradition, legacy, and community. In Yoruba culture, Ayẹyẹ Ọmọ Ọdún Mẹ́wàá is a rite of passage. A young girl’s turning point as she steps into her journey of growth.
We wanted this film to capture the essence of that moment: three generations of women, each one the living manifestation of her mother’s prayers. It was also important to reflect Zoë’s mixed heritage and her family’s faith; threads that are central to her story.
In addition to producing this film, our team also led the fashion direction and wardrobe curation for the family. Those looks will be revealed in our next post.
✨ A moment. A milestone. A legacy.
