ALL IN A LA MINUTE… wow time flies when you’re grinding ur ass off… crazy to think, about a month ago today, @lily_santiago and I read Vermont, India together for the first time, unaware of how much the thing we had read on Cornelia Street would change so much. Crazy to think only 20 days ago, would we have entered theater 2 at @newtheaterhollywood and met @callahead_@kuenstlersozialkasse@nicopingmechanism@mkvelsorf@janehamor@haleydennis for the first time. Crazy to think in the middle of rehearsals, @son.of_zorn popped out and we absolutely crushed the coloring session with @zanderschwab and are getting ready to finally submit the short film This Time for Real to festivals. Crazy to think that Lily @michaelherwitz and I all spent four years together in the same 8 floor public school building over a decade ago and now get to work together so intimately on something my friend Luca wrote, who I played baseball with in Greenwich Village Little League maybe around 2 decades ago. Crazy to think the first 3 shows have been sold out and there are now 4 more opportunities to see what we have churned out of the red hot furnace of New Theater Hollywood. Crazy to think about how people like the show and are moved by it. Reality right now is just too good… I’ll have to watch out for a vicious ankle bite from Bert. Vermont, India is a new play by Luca Casson Milstein (Demons At Night), directed by Michael Herwitz (Job on Broadway). When their family reunion dinner falls apart, siblings Sadie and William are forced to revisit their fractured childhood before one runs away to India and another sequesters in the woods. As buried trauma surfaces and their memories disaccord, the pair must decide who they are to each other now.

I’LL CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY ABOUT IT ALL what a year it’s been… so full of life. funny how that happens. I always think “nothing is happening” then all of a sudden, I look back and am hit: there is everything and everyone. finally got to act in front of the camera for Sam and Julia, and can’t wait to do it again, whilst making my own short film with just the dreamiest squad (I can’t believe that happened this year) and wow I learned a lot from that, my neighbor Janne passed, I worked a good amount, ha, I found some love, went on a looooooong walk with the old man, celebrated long-distance the release of the threshing :)), I did a play on the Roosevelt Island Tram (eternally grateful for that one, feels historic), hung out with my friends, did some awesome short films, had an amazing time with my cousins, aunts, uncles, brother, father, and mother in Florida and I am writing this from a couch in Los Angeles, about to dive into a wonderful piece of new work by my brilliant friend Luca, directed by Michael and costarring Lily. let the good times roll. onwards and upwards. #arianagrande #life #newyear #sameshit #wya
