Last night, I was blessed to win the Community Leader award for raising over $37,000 across 6 community project spanning throughout the GTA providing running shoes, winter jackets, Christmas gifts and food to families, children, people without housing and refugees.
I appreciate the 1000s of people who have donated, participated, spread the word, encouraged or been involved in any form or fashion.
Little is much when God is in it.
Thank you to @kevinvuongmp@nefertiti_87 & team.
Marathon 6: New Personal Best - 3:34 🏁
A few highlights from another special marathon weekend and I’m more than ready to take a break from a long year of running.
LA to Vegas run in March, Toronto to Blue Mountain run in June, and Waterfront Full Marathon in October 🤕
What I am most proud of? (Not pictured)
My high school friends @vishcpa & @ajmxnauf , my university friend @nerriswhite , a recent friend & work colleague @lefter_v , and my most recent friend @valentinaquinteroc_ all running their first half marathon this weekend 🥹
Whatever you want others to do, do it first.
26 was special, here are highlights to celebrate 27 in community ⭐️
Highlights are not always the presence of spectacular events but the presence of spectacular people
Lowlights are inevitable, highlights are a choice
Go make yourself some highlights ✨

Let me tell you about the wildest 66 hours of my life.
It’s 2am. You just got shaken awake from a 1-hour nap. Towel pillow. Mat bed. You’ve already run 40km and you’re about to go again.
The guy before you? Sprinting to the RV because wild dogs are on his tail. The gas station cashier? Casually dropping bear sighting updates. Your route? The shoulder of a highway with cars flying by at 100km/h. The runner beside you? Fast asleep snoring Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
All you’ve got is a headlamp, a vest, and a reason to keep going. 🏜️
Desert stars you didn’t know existed. Sunrises that made you forget everything hurt. Running side by side with a crew from Tijuana @trc.runningclub sharing miles and stories. 🌅
Breakfast lunch and dinner were all the same bagel with yogurt and honey. Showers were wet wipes in the desert. And somehow — somehow — those were some of the best 66 hours of my life.
From 3am on a Thursday in Tijuana to 10pm on a Saturday in Las Vegas.
70+ km on my legs. More laughs than sleep. One of the first 12 teams to ever run Mexico to the US. One lil team from Toronto 🇨🇦
Day 2. 48 hours of running. 440km down. 200km to go. Current location: Mojave Desert. Stars at night. Sunrises that hit different. Flat tires. Cold nights. Tired legs. 50km on foot. Would love nothing more than a warm shower and a warm bed but only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.
