Berlin-based makeup artist Zsofi Hajdu is known for her expressive, texture-driven makeup work. Rather than presenting a clean, perfectly polished face, her work explores a new aesthetic of beauty through diverse layers and tactile surfaces.
In particular, her use of sticky, clumped lashes symbolically reflects her unconventional approach to beauty. Like emotions and moments that are not yet fully refined and remain entangled, these lashes capture a raw in-between state. In Zsofi Hajduโs makeup practice, messiness becomes sexy.
