Smolder took me over a year to make and honestly, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Two parts of Smolder were standout challenges
the head, because I was too ambitious. I wanted to add so many mechanisms and didnt know how to built any of them, I was basically starting from scratch when it came to puppet building because I had no previous experience.
the wings were a different kind of terrifying. they're so complex, so specific to the character, and I had no idea how I would open and close them while also being able to pupeteer the rest of the body. The Solution ended up being building him sturdy enough so that when I held onto his head his body would remain standing. That way I could use my other hand to open the wings.

I made Choncc from @teamfighttactics as an inflatable costume and im currently working on a little tutorials series because the cosplay world needs more inflatable costume hehe.

Everyone's favorite Smolder puppet was my most challenging and interesting project to date. He released 2 years ago and it took me over a year to create this puppet next to my studies!
Thank you for the wonderful reactions you all have had to him, it's made me realize how far I've come.

In August, my partner @zorksus , came to visit me and film my current projects and day to day life. We will be releasing a documentary later this year covering how I became a cosplayer, sculptor, and now a puppeteer!
The documentary will be separated into chapters, each chapter covering a different project or aspect of my life. I'm really looking forward to telling the stories of how I made my puppet of Smolder from @leagueoflegends , inflatable costume of Choncc from @teamfighttactics , and who my favorite dango is (it's base dango).
