We asked
@zoolz to rank his All Time 10 favorite clips.
George Kousoulis is a backbone of Sydney skateboarding. His video library spans 15 years, from last month’s New Balance video, High Noon, to his first homie video, High Street. He rose up alongside Australia’s biggest names like Dane Burman, Dean Palmer, and Chima Ferguson, and continues uplifting the next generation of skaters, like Rome Collyer, Nixen Osborne, and Liv Lovelace. He’s filmed with Jack O’Grady since he was 10 and has worked with most of Slam’s SOTY winners.
George is equally involved in the industry. He cofounded
@sundayhardware 10 years ago, becoming a fixture in Australian shops and recently securing international distributors. After three years as Vans Australia’s Team Manager, he’s taken the helm on New Balance’s recent Australia videos and films for brands like PASS~PORT and Hoddle. When international tours come to town, like Tyshawn’s SOTY trip, he’s the guy they call.
Between filming, editing, brand managing, tour guiding, and parenting two young daughters, George also supports his wife’s flower shop,
@florawild . He makes 4am pickups from the market and deliveries throughout the day. To make it all work, he coordinates spots around these deliveries, toting a van stuffed with sweaty skaters or gorgeous flower arrangements.
