When Chima came to SF, he lived at my apartment and ran up my phone bill calling home, telling everyone about how big the food portions were. Watching him handle spots all over SF, we knew right away he’d be a great addition to the team - he brought great energy in the van and his skating was undeniable. Big, fast, powerful, smooth, and technical. Twenty years later, I’m proud of the skater he’s become, the career he’s built, and the beautiful family he has. Grateful to call him a friend.
