This is for every great mother and mother figure who stood up for their kids, siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews despite the odds. May we remember that mom was a person before she became mom.
She had a life as complex as your own. Maybe, when she was a kid, she loved playing hide-and-seek with her friends, just like you. She might have had childish sibling fights with your uncle. During her teenage years, mom also had her first crush. Mom had her first step, first word, first heartbreak, and first love, because it’s her first time living life too.
