It was a privilege to work with Ryan Zoidis of @lettucefunk on this tune. His horn arrangement and solo took the music to a new level.
I came up in the same funk revival scene as the guys from Lettuce back in 1990s Boston, when they were holding court at Wally's Cafe. I've followed their 30-year rise to the top with such admiration, for their hard work and for their commitment to the music. They've shown that great music can be popular and that funk still matters. To have a core member of their band, Zoidis, play on my record is a full circle moment - a true inspiration. Thank you, Ryan!
