At least the ones I know of for sure at the moment. To think a year ago I thought I only had auditory-visual. 😅
to be clear, not all of them are at the same intensity. some are triggered by only very specific inducers (a certain shade of green, an electric guitar being played a certain way).

Made a thing over on YouTube! An 11-minute thing. Hope you guys can head on over and check it out! Handles are the same on there!
I shared some basic synesthesia facts, resources, how I reacted to finding out I have Synaesthesia and what I did after finding out! Let me know what you think of it!

Study info from Jools Simner, University of Sussex:
Do you have Location Memory??
We want to know if you have a rare type of memory called ‘Location Memory’.
This means that when you think about big ideas (like religion, or healthcare) you associate them with a specific random location in the world.
For example:
Thinking of religion reminds you of a windowsill in a neighbour’s house (even though you’ve never once had a conversation about religion there!).
The point about ‘Location Memory’ is that the location is not an obvious match. So there’s no good reason why this particular location (windowsill) should come to mind when thinking about that concept (religion) — but if you have location memory it does! And you always think of the same location every time (eg religion is always a certain windowsill, government is always a certain alleyway).
Pop quiz! Does this sound like it could be an example of location memory?
1. Thinking of the theatre reminds you of the stage in your high school.
It’s NOT location memory because there’s a clear link that anyone could understand between the theatre and a (theatre) stage you once knew.
2. Thinking of the theatre reminds you of the door to your local coffee shop.
It IS location memory because there’s not an obvious link between the theatre and door to a coffee shop.
If you DO have this location-memory, there is a 30 minute study just starting online this month, run by the University of Sussex. You can join the study and take part here:

Why does panic work so well? Not to mention, I have creative visions way above my actual skill level 🥲
Nevertheless, Amsterdam Synaesthesia Conference 2026 here we (ADHD and I) come!
Oh my god. The Ono Roller Acupressure is back in stock and with two new colours: black (original), dune (warm orange), and sage (the one I have). It has 2 sizes, full size and junior. I’m holding the full size one.
🌱Ridged texture: simulates pain stimming by squeezing it (no more skin picking my thumb till it bleeds)
🌱Slient: stimming without adding more visuals to my synaesthesia TV
🌱Weight: like a weighted blanket for my palm while trying to sleep
🌱Quality: the highest quality, most well-made stimming toy I have ever owned (and I have tonnes lol)
Don’t forget to use code ZOE for 10% off. Link in bio. Happy rolling! 🫶🏼

on my 35th, we brought back tumblr 🎂👑
I consistently feel like i need to productive, and I’ve forgotten how fun it is to make stuff just because i felt like it 😅 paper, rhinestones, ribbons and glitter tapes 😍
me, who always wishes i am less sound sensitive and can enjoy a more stimulating environment, immediately thinking im faking it the moment i do 😅 imposter syndrome is too real.
A sneak peak of some of the fun times during production!
We are still in post-production but the producers @cripagnoncelli and @arianna_angelico decided to put together something fun for everyone!
This is the phase where we are really quiet, but trust us, things are progressing steadily! 💪🏼
Head on over to @zoesthesia YouTube to watch it! Just like our teaser, all ad revenue from YouTube on this BTS video will go directly to funding the documentary!

Dream synaesthesia. Just my brain triggering itself.
If you’ve heard the story on my first solo episode on Let’s Talk Synaesthesia, these are what they look like:
☝🏼the static collecting in my right hip
✌🏼when the pot was being scraped down my chin
If you wanna know the story behind these visuals, check out episode 48 on Let’s Talk Synaesthesia. Podcast available on all platforms!
Same girl, different font (and different Synaesthesia experiences). Follow our docu film account to not miss any updates @inmymindseye.film 🎥🍿
Not visibly featured: being 8 weeks pregnant and criminally nauseous

@clubneuro and @neurodiversing are absolutely killing it with the stim hoodie and I’m never taking it off! The hoodie is so well thought out that you KNOW it’s made by a neurodivergent team FOR neurodivergent people 😍
The stress balls are removable and you can hook your other stim toys into the inner pocket. Definitely very ADHD brain friendly because now I know where to look first when I can’t find my stim toys, which is all the time 😂
