I’m super excited to announce that a little film I made with friends a while back “The Next Thing I Know, I’m Dead” is having its world premiere at the ✨ 49th Annual @atlantafilmfestival ✨!!!
—— our first academy qualifying festival !!
What a perfect way to start our festival run by having our first screening in the city where the film itself was made, where the majority of the cast & crew are from, and where I get to grow as a filmmaker.
I’m excited to share this film and excited to meet the other filmmakers as well!

*sigh* @icingonhercakefilm has almost reached the end of its fest run! we’re both so grateful to @lashortsfest@disorientfilm@laiff_org@jakartafilmfest for giving us the platform to share our cute little film we made two summers ago in the midst of a hurricane lmao.
we learned tons from our first serious festival run outside of school. learned that despite many nos, there will always be someone who will say yes. MOST IMPORTANTLY, we learned that rejections can’t stop us from creating and doing what we love :p sooo catch us in our next world premieres. very very soon. 👀
