Riding the Hà Giang Loop in North Vietnam close to the border with China was an amazing part of this trip.
Completed in 1965 in the midst of The Vietnam War (or locally “The American War”), the 230 mile stretch of road took us up into the clouds through super tight switchbacks, stunning landscapes and the villages of the local ethnic communities who survive at on the sparsest of resources.
We rode with @roadkingshagiang who did a fabulous job. Hope to do it again someday!

We finished this week’s run of shows on Sunday out on the west coast in Galicia at a cool bar called @acofradiacultural - lovely people, great hospitality. If you’re out this way, you should definitely visit.
