In August 1960 Roy Orbison bought his first Nashville home in Hendersonville. It was a pink brick home overlooking the lake. He lived in this house with his family for about 3 years before moving to a larger home a few miles away. It was at this first home where songs like Running Scared, Blue Bayou, Leah and In Dreams were conceived….although the pink brick is now gone, the house still stands in pretty much the same shape.
