clattering of mug and stein
more space for whom we wanted to see
room for other unexpected arrivals
a living dream of future celebration
aboard our fellowship.
our footsteps dig into the rooftop tiles
jumping from third place to place
sounds of thrilling expedition
to nowhere new
and anywhere else but here
it will feel like home
where we are warmed
by the loss of time
and the forgetting of days.

everyone was there and had something to share
we celebrated until forgetting when we arrived

once again so happy to see you

every sound comes crystal clear
all languages overlapping like water
and even the shadows came to dance.
i cannot help but imagine
the fate of every hot day
where the sun never sets all the way
we have found our way home.

recently was asked a few questions by @thewordlyrik with the @letsbe.honest.thepodcast about my creative process during composition for artists, myself, and @fortresseslive .
there are many methods we may choose to make a song - from sampling, mixing, remixing, composing, AI, random noise - though every process requires us to attempt to place ourselves inside the sound to, often unconsciously, become apart of the music.
i want so much more from life
we could make it mean something
may new love and experience
open gates to new horizons
occasionally overwhelmed with
what beauty and possibility come with change.
quickly we are reminded
of what it took to get us to where
we seem to have found ourselves -
the ways we used to maneuver
through the world as we knew it
now lead us to dying ends -
though, i want to be fully alive
when we cross our paths,
in the event it may be our last time.
