This was the premiere for my new live set, which is more dancefloor oriented than the last one. Having fun blending big beat/techno/psytrance elements at the moment 🥁

Experimenting with ideas for a new live with more real time synthesis and semi-generative systems (a bit inspired by Autechre and livecoders)
Lately I have been contemplating the idea of a hardware live, but after trying a bunch of machines, I feel like I just enjoy too much the flexibility that the computer provides in making your own systems and ways of playing (+ I am so used about Ableton’s effects and Instruments)
What you here is are four instances of Operator playing the main rhythm at the same time, with a lottt of randomisation on the synthesis parameters and effects (shoutout to @dnksaus for the wonderful Rnd Gen Max for Live device)
Got the chance to create original music and sound design for Indulto, @melanie.courtinat ’s latest video game.
Being a fan of Mélanie’s work for a while, I felt really honoured to be involved in this sick project 🐂
Among others, the music took inspiration from Shadow of the Colossus, Nier Automata and Returnal, all three being big influences on my creative output.
I made the outdoor sections of the game, while the rest was made by @yatoni .
The game is designed to be presented in art spaces, so it can only be played when it’s being displayed somewhere. Watch Mélanie’s profile to see where it will be shown next!
The tracks will also soon be released on @paradoxeclub as an EP, excited to present this!
