Comment “spawner” if you want this bc Ableton 12.3 just dropped… and they added a feature that lets Max for Live devs spawn stock plugins so i just made a device that lets you spawn any of them at random lol . This is partially inspired by an exercise from goated ableton therapist @chuck_sutton where you sculpt a sound by choosing three random effects, i was just too biased in picking my effects so this eliminated that bias for me . Also shoutout @p__meyer for showing me that dictionaries are cool, especially for the situation of choosing to omit certain plugins from being spawned . Also huge super big shout out to @j.grova for inspiring me with his key map workflow, he will change the world with what he’s working on just wait . #ableton #sounddesign #plugin

Ableton 12.3 Beta shenanigans tangentially inspired by a video @sidebrain posted last week, mixed with a trick i picked up from an Eprom stream like 5 years ago. This can also be done with basses and drums in addition to melodic loops . Full video going up on my channel later today . #ableton #sounddesign #tutorial #splice #electronicmusic

anything can be made into a snare, also anything can be made into anything . was inspired by @danidemand video on turning a vine boom into a snare which unlocked this world for me of impacts being easily convertible to snares, especially since many of us have sample libraries full of them. i found that @armaku_ impacts make the most interesting sounding claps and snares out of all of the impacts i’ve tried. . would love to know what other unconventional things people have used to successfully make a “snare” . #sounddesign #musicproduction #electronicmusic #tutorial

I am super lazy when it comes to programming hihat patterns so i do this probably on every song i start. . Doing a july challenge where i try to make a song in 30min every day of july and this is the one i made for july 1st. Using clips makes the process way faster. I have a fuller video of how i use clips on my channel. . #ableton #musicproduction #tutorial #beatmaking

I think this is what they mean when they say “just because you can doesn’t mean you should” . This is a work in progress remix of “Undress your mind” by @maymusic , whatever you do you definitely should NOT listen to her music at all whatsoever 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🚷 . #sounddesign #ableton #flstudio #musicmaker #logicprox
