The Capture mode in Granulator III can do so much!
In this video we check out how to use Granulator III to create atmospheres from our music which will almost always work harmonically.
We can also play the atmospheres higher or lower octaves for a brighter or darker sound or layer octaves for a thicker atmosphere.
You can use any reverb and filter you’d like

Hard to beat a real piano and a real player but here is a checklist to add more realism to your virtual piano:
1. Arpeggiate - 2/3 steps with 12 semitones (octave) apart on Random Once style to create different arpeggio patterns
2. Span - 100% variation
3. Time Warp - get the notes off the grid in a wavy motion
4. Randomize Velocity - keep hitting until you find something you like
5. Humanize - 10%-40%
6. Add Sustain pedal - Under the Envelopes tab (MIDI CTRL | CC 64)

Ableton Live 12.4 comes with a lot of new updates!
The new upgraded LFO in the Delay can act as an automatic sample chopper when in Jump smoothing mode!
Play around with the delay times, LFO rate and LFO waveshape for different chopping results
Hopefully Ableton will add an option to add a short fade between the LFO cycles to eliminate the clicks.

In this video we check out 2 Mod Wheel expression techniques.
1. Pentatonic Harmonization – Layering your main lead or vocal with notes two scale degrees down in the pentatonic scale for added harmonic depth.
2. Gate Triggering – Using the Gate audio effect to mute and open a music group via the Mod Wheel that will respond to our playing.
For the Gate Triggering, we combine the Expression Control with the Shaper modulator in Manual mode to control the response shape of the Mod Wheel.
