A HUGE thank you to everyone who came to my “My Best Judy” art show at @otto_yeg yesterday afternoon! I felt so much love and support from community, family and friends and had 60 people show up! I wish I took more vids because that place was PACKED. Because of your support, we donated $300 to @chewprojectyeg ! This series took a lot of love and energy from me the last couple months, and has felt super important and meaningful. I had such a blast creating it and organizing this show, and my cup is so full from having my closest peeps come see it and support it. I’ll be having a little Art show at @otto_yeg on Sunday April 12th from 3pm-5pm. I’ve been working on a series titled “My Best Judy” that features 14 new collage pieces that were sourced from a vintage men’s tailoring catalogue from 1925. All proceeds of the $5 door admission will go to @chewprojectyeg - who provide a safe environment and free frontline support for 2SLGBTQ+ youth and emerging adults aged 29 and below who face barriers. Originals and prints will be available for sale, with 10% of proceeds also going to C.H.E.W.

Vendor feature: @zephmind is an Edmonton born & raised queer multidisciplinary artist with a love for collage. He loves the sense of nostalgia that flipping brought old magazines creates, and compiling surrealistic and weird worlds is his specialty. Giving life to otherwise forgotten source material fulfills Zeph’s sustainability ethos. Zeph is inspired by life, death, nature, the night sky, and what is what like growing up gay in Alberta. What an exciting and rewarding first few months of the year! I am so extremely grateful for all the amazing opportunities I have had in 2026, and even more grateful for all the love I have in my life. Am also very 😴 1) In February, my partner of 7 years proposed to me the day before my birthday. Friends and family decorated our front porch, and were waiting inside to surprise me. I cried. This day often brings some sad memories for me since it’s the day my Mother passed, so thought it was sweet my partner chose this day to bring a more positive and beautiful memory to the day. 2) The next day (my birthday) we flew to Japan for a 12 day trip with some friends. It was an absolute blast and have been wanting to go since I was little. I love Japanese culture so much, so it truly felt like a dream! 3) When we got back, I drove down to Calgary for a Mural Mentorship program I got into, run by @rachellyondesignco , and learned so sooo much from them! It was such an incredible time meeting my fellow mentees and we all bonded so much from this experience. ❤️ 4) In March, I was invited to come to Medicine Hat to @medalta to do an artist talk for a show curated by @shane_golby for the TREX Program run by the AGA. It was an honor being in a space with such a long and rich history, and was my first time being in Medicine Hat! The geography is stunning over there! 5) Finally, I was asked by @punkrockfleamarketseattle to design a flyer for their market, and had so much fun creating it. This is one of my first major designs for someone outside of Edmonton, and felt like a bucket list moment for me! One of the brand new vendors we were looking forward to seeing at the PRFM was collage artist @zephmind who was ready to take the long drive from Edmonton, Alberta to hang with us in Seattle. STUPIDLY the clowns at US immigration won't give him a visa, so he's stuck with his amazing artwork on the other side of the border! He was nice enough to make this gorgeous flyer for us anyway, which we're happy to share electronically across ALL the borders, because who's gonna stop us?! The 6 best friends that anyone did have 🤣 I’m still running off the high of this group! When I’m going through my mentorship program applications and selecting the participants that will be working together, it’s always a little nerve wracking….What if they don’t get along? What if the vibes are off? Spoiler: the vibes were ON! I could not be more happy bringing this group together. All super talented artists in their own ways ready to take on mural painting. They were professional, enthusiastic, and kept me on my toes by bringing super thoughtful questions to the table. Aside from the learning, we shared bits of our lives, were vulnerable, and created so many inside jokes with each other. When the time came when someone said “We should do a pyramid!!”, it was a no brainer. The hardest part was figuring out who was going on top. 🤣 Thank you to these 5 for donating their time to spend with me to paint this mural for a great cause. I also wanted to thank everyone who applied for the mentorship program. I wish I could take everyone. Please keep applying! 🖤

Our official mural reveal for @kindred_ab at the @yychomeshows ! This team spent the last 5 days together diving into all things mural related, from start to finish and everything in between. I am so proud of them! This mural was painted for the amazing local nonprofit Kindred, who provides rapid access counselling and accessible mental health resources for Calgarians. It was designed to create a warm and cozy environment for their offices and programming areas. It was an honour to paint this for them. This lil’ fishbowl world kinda reminds me of the eye spy books. This is my 6th year creating 12 animals and wanted to continue with challenging myself with digital collage!
