My new work 《Yu Feng 》was created during a two-week residency at the Sifang Art Museum in Nanjing. Drawing inspiration from the line ”riding the wind with ease, transcending the worldly“ in Zhuangzi’s Wandering Beyond, the piece evokes the poetic imagery of ”wind in an empty courtyard.“ Through a combination of painting, bamboo-crafted kites, and architectural space, the work seeks to capture the invisibility, vitality, and energy of the wind.
