Goddess Fall's self-titled debut album turns two today, while its instrumental edition counterpart is a year old now! It's crazy to think that this album's been out for this long, and that it still holds up pretty well to this day. While there are certain things I'd do differently with it in hindsight, I give myself some slack for the conditions that I was writing and recording the album in, which was a time of great turmoil and suffering. I was actually starting to lose my drive and motivation to make more music around that time, but playing Nikke back when it first came out had both carried me through the terrible things I was going through back then, and also inspired me so much to the point of reigniting that fire for making music that I once thought I was losing. The overall positive impact that creating and releasing this album had on my career, personal life, and also the Nikke community is one that still feels surreal to me even now.
