A whirlwind 36 hours in Pakistan
We held a series of meetings with the Federal and Punjab Government leadership including H E Prime Minister @shehbazsharif , Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz and Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb
We enjoyed a awe inspiring dinner and cultural experience in the @walledcityoflahoree (which I recommend everyone to visit whenever they’re in the city)
We also had the opportunity for a special visit to former 3 time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif - who was a true gentleman - thank you sir, it was an honour

Today we officially signed with @ennismore to bring the first-ever @mondrianhotels residences to the UAE - a $500M beachfront masterpiece on Marjan Island, one of the most exciting real estate markets in the world today.
This moment is the result of 10 months of relentless work. From land acquisition, through to design, development and planning the journey has been immense, filled with hard work, commitment, passion, drive and some nail biting moments.
And finally now I’m honoured to begin sharing today a tiny glimpse of what is certainly my best work to date :)
I would like to say a huge thank you to the entire team at Ennismore - it has been a pleasure partnering with you and together I know we’ve created what will be the standout project of 2025 and an icon on Marjan Island for years to come 🤝

In 2020, @omersheikh and I took @jaafarjackson to Pakistan 🇵🇰
We spent 10 days visiting Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore, a whirlwind trip that will have its own chapter in my book one day.
Omer broke his arm on day one and somehow still kept going. He had Jaafar and I with him at some random hospital until the early hours and that was just the beginning. Every day was 6am to midnight, university visits with all the girls going crazy over Jaafar, meetings with musicians and government officials, orphanages, schools, morning shows, TV interviews and then Omer ending up back in hospital as the grand finale. 😂
I told Jaafar then that he was destined for greatness.
Five years later, he’s playing his uncle Michael Jackson in @michaelmovie - the biggest film of the year and the biggest biopic ever made.
This is only the beginning of his journey - the world is not ready for this young man.

In my 20s I had a fleet of supercars and drove through London in an entourage. We went viral.
I wasn’t happy.

The fastest-selling, and now fastest-building project on Al Marjan Island 🌊
Mondrian Al Marjan Island Beach Residences is already reaching key early milestones ahead of the curve.
Shoring works are now approximately 95% complete, securing the site for excavation. Dewatering permits have been secured, materials mobilised, and wells installed, with system activation commencing shortly. Excavation permits are also in place, machinery has been mobilised, and excavation up to the first ground anchor level is starting soon.
