Australian Survivorā¦
This game challenges you mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally every second of the day.
What an absolute blast I had. Childhood dream, come reality and Iām so thankful I got this opportunity.
I played the game the way I KNEW would get me this far. I stayed true to who I AM. Physically strong in challenges, Socially strong with relationships. I knew there would be smarter, strategic players, and all I wanted to do was last long enough to start making some big moves. The Hayley blindside was the first of that, but the Survivor Gods didnāt allow itā¦
I was MYSELF the whole time and wonāt apologise for that. I played the game MY WAY. I would never get personal with anyone (canāt say the same about everyone) and played with dignity.
I played the game to āplay survivorā NOT to get on ātvā. I am proud of my game and what I achieved. Making Jury or winning individual immunity wouldāve been the cherry on top.
I can honestly say I loved every minute. Iāve made some amazing long term friends with true bonds outside the game.
Good luck to all remaining. Canāt wait to see who is left standing as sole survivor
One week on from IRONMAN NZ and Iām still riding the high from an incredible day. The goal going in was simple: Kona qualification šø
Swim: My first ever mass start and, honestly, I didnāt know what to expect. The āwashing machineā was real. After the first 500m I settled in, found a rhythm and focused on setting up the rest of the day.
Bike: Tough from the start. It took about 50km to find my legs after the swim and I rode solo until around 140km. The course is beautiful but challenging. With 30km to go my lower back tightened and I couldnāt push the power I wanted. At that point I just wanted to get off the bike.
Run: After the back issue, I didnāt know what to expect. But from the first step I felt good. The legs were smooth, breathing controlled, and I knew I could push. The first three laps flew by. On the final lap I reminded myself: one more lap for Kona. At 41km I completely bonked, but by then it was mission accomplished.
8th overall, another sub-3 marathon, and a Kona slot secured.
The Ironman distance never stops amazing me. Itās a battle with yourself the entire dayāand I love every part of it
West Sydney 70.3 Summary: 4:09:03
Tough day for me. I ended the day with an overall PB, which I know I should be happy about. And I am. But it was a grind all day.
Started out with a horrible swim. Probably my worst in 12 months. I didnāt feel comfortable at all.
Once I got on the bike, I tried to settle my HR and push my watts. Ended with my fastest 70.3 bike split and fastest bike/run combo in a race.
What started as a struggle and grind, ended with some little wins. I biked 7mins faster than I did on this course 8 months ago, so I take that as a big win.
Now onto the next one where I hopefully feel on top of the ground.

If you needed to read this today⦠get after it. Keep going!!
Keep chasing whatever dreams you have. Donāt let anything get in your way. Live the life you want and keep striving to be better.
If thereās one thing Iāve learnt, itās the journey that matters most. The daily grind! Waking up and pushing yourself, even when itās hard. Itās not the finish line, the medal or the podium⦠itās showing up every day and doing the work.
Because every time you cross a line, you just think, whatās next?
Itās been 3 years since I decided to start training for triathlon. It feels both āonly 3 yearsā, and āalready 3 yearsā.
Iām not a pro, and Iām okay if I never get there. I love grinding to be a better version of myself each day. I love the routine, the ups and downs, the people you meet and the experiences along the way. Thatās what itās about.
So if you needed this today, great. Go after what you want.
Those ideas you have at night, then talk yourself out of in the morning⦠go chase them.
It doesnāt matter what anyone else thinks. Itās your life āš½
