For “Ascension: Zombies and Zoom Meditations in the New Jersey Suburbs.” This article discusses how religious practices adapt to changing environments, and connects to the imagined spaces of video game worlds.
I chose to highlight the Laykyun Sekkya Buddha statue from Myanmar in the distance (you should look up the real statue, it’s amazing) —-> Swipe to see the print version featuring the Myanmar golden stupa. ✨🕉️
