An inside look at what I’ve been making for you in the studio… Making music for me is a collaborative process. @hormozi once said something along the lines of ‘you have a responsibility to work with whoever will help you succeed at the highest level’ and it resonated with me. I could produce by myself, play guitar by myself, mix by myself, figure out piano parts for myself, but at the end of the day the music wouldn’t be as good. The songs and vision not as fully realized. And the impact lessened. Not only do I want to create absolute best music I can, but working with my dear friends @tuckerhillmusic , @z.m.smith , and @alykittie has been a true true joy. Aly and Zack have become essential parts of my live set, and bringing them into the recording process feels so natural. Tucker, meanwhile, has been instrumental in helping me design a sound that reflects the influences and inspiration and energies I want to convey. The results have been wondrous. Sound bath…?!? I will be joined by some absolutely WONDERFUL artists on the 19th at @theperch_musicandarts_workshop . First up is Kyle McKay, of @ascendingsounds , who will be performing a SOUND BATH to open the show. I am extremely excited for this. Sound bath chill vibes are just like, wonderful and beautiful and Kyle is all of those things as well. Cannot wait to experience the serenity. Additionally, I’ll be backed up by @alykittie on vocals and percussion, @nobletofurkey on vocals and piano, and @z.m.smith on vocals and guitar. Aly, Zack and I have been playing together for a while - Jack has jumped in here and there, but I think the bass and pad like quality of the piano and Jack’s skills on the instrument really add an extra dimension to the whole arrangement.
