This maybe an unpopular opinion but f I had to chose between fantasy or fashion I would chose fantasy. Coco Chanel put it beautifully- “I hate chic. I want people to dare.” My favourite sort of makeup doesn’t conform to a pop beauty standard. It makes a statement. It doesn’t try and be cool or conform. It try’s to push a limit, a narrative or an idea.
