The jigsaw table at Knox Library has been a massive hit! As the weather cools down, there is nothing quite like cosying up with a puzzle and a warm drink.
Do you have completed puzzles at home gathering dust? Bring them along to one of our regular swaps and trade them for a "new-to-you" challenge!

✨️On Friday 1 May, the Realm team headed to Eastland to celebrate Scholastic’s National Family Reading Month!
📚️ We loved chatting about everything the library has to offer for children and their families, from storytimes and great books, to programs, events, and plenty of ways to spark a love of reading.
We also ran a membership raffle prize draw, with our lucky winner being a NEW library member, Melanie. Welcome to the library, Melanie! 🏅
One of the highlights of the day was meeting National Family Reading Month ambassadors Mr Luke, Matt Cosgrove, Eva Amores and Chris Kennett! What a dream team of ambassadors and what a wonderful day celebrating stories, reading, and families. 😊

Today’s first line is from ‘Archipelago’, a novel written by Natalie Bakopoulos.
Blurb: Along the way to a translation writing residency on the Dalmatian coast, Archipelago’s unnamed narrator has an unsettling, aggressive encounter with a man on a ferry, which sets off a series of strange events. At the residency, she reunites with Luka, an old friend who seems to have included a version of her in his novel. They strike up a romantic relationship as she continues her translation work.
The hazy summer stretches on until, after a sudden shift, she embarks upon an impulsive road trip back to Greece, crossing borders. Spare and lyrical, with subversions of the Odyssey and its singular Ithaca, Archipelago charts a wending journey back to the narrator’s family house—not simply back to a self and home, but beyond it.
First line: ‘I attribute all that summer’s disquiet to an encounter with a man on the ferry, an encounter that was as destabilising as it was strange.’
