2:38:31! This mean SUMN TO ME!! The last couple marathons didn’t go as planned. I was discouraged and humbled by those experiences, left wondering if the marathon just had my number. I’m really glad I kept fighting and working hard, and am proud as hell of my effort today. As we got to the deeper miles, instead of anticipating doom, I felt strong, and knew I could close. The most exciting part is I know I have a lot more to give (my fastest running friends are calling this the next step 😭). I feel an immense amount of love and support — from my family who will drop everything to come cheer me on, to friends who ever sent a good luck text or words of encouragement. Thank you! Gonna enjoy this rot 😎

Open for business on Saturdays too 😈 1:11:19 half marathon PR at Project 13.1, cutting 44 secs off last year’s time (which was a PR). Last year felt like a big breakthrough and I wasn’t sure how much time I’d be able to cut, but all I did was work hard and hoped for the best. Happy with the result and excited to continue working hard. Love to my twin my brother my dawg @eyozel for coming to cheer

New York City Marathon 2025 - 2:51:34. NYC, you are so special. Electric, vibrant, magnetic, vibey AF, beautiful…there just aren’t enough words. What a day. I can be pretty hard on myself sometimes, and while today wasn’t a PR or the time I was looking for, I am genuinely grateful for the experience. Gave it my best shot, had fun out there and fought like hell when things got tough. It’s a tale as old as time - the marathon owes you nothing and I learned that lesson (again) today. I still love this sport — and more importantly — the memories and the people that it’s blessed me with. The support on the course was unreal!! The amount of times I heard my name on the course had a gangsta fighting emotions. And to my family, I feel like the luckiest person in the world because yall are my loved ones. Thank you NYC 🫶🏽 #NewYorkCityMarathon
