🌕 Moon Joy in the Sunshine State 🍊 Young & Sick: Live in Florida!
This July, Young & Sick is landing our mothership in Florida for the first time. During this mission, we’ll be playing some new and exciting music, as well as some classics at some local favorites.
The first stop (July 1st) on this wild endeavor is the city of Jacksonville. Here we will play @jackrabbitslive , in an attempt to achieve full band levitation.
The following day (July 2nd), the crew will explore Orlando’s @willspub , as we team up with @somedayriver to find out if we really can open a portal by combining both band’s energies.
We will conclude the mission on July 3rd in Tampa at the legendary @crowbarybor , during the first day of the final Hot Dog Party. During this annual tournament, we will join forces with @wolffaceyeah , @jeremygloff , and @wallyrios36 and find out who will win, hot dog or human.

Today (on this @Bandcamp Friday), I’m releasing my album ‘Demo Club’ on my Bandcamp page for the first time as an expanded version, 'Demo Club Deluxe.' With the purchase of the Deluxe album available only on Bandcamp, I’m including three deluxe-only bonus tracks, including one of the original demos and two new unreleased tracks.
'Demo Club' is a collection of songs that I made in the few years leading up to 2020, while living in the Valley in Los Angeles, California. I would often ride my bicycle around in the evening, writing melodies and words to beats I had made during the day. Riding past the quiet streets, I would pass the old bars, diners, and liquor stores all seemingly frozen in time.
Six years later, I’m still quite fond of these weird little songs, from this odd period of my life, living in the calmest part of a very strange city, and released in the strangest of times. I see these songs as a snapshot in time.

To celebrate a successful moon mission by the crew of NASA’s Artemis II, I wanted to create a special shirt commemorating the moment and to celebrate being heard in space.
My cover of Passion Pit’s “Sleepyhead” was played by Mission Control as the first wake-up song aboard the craft for the crew of Artemis II.
This tie dye shirt is hand dyed in shades of purple and gray on a relaxed fit unisex shirt in Ivory. Dyed to create an outer space feel, this limited-edition t-shirt is perfect for anyone gazing up at the stars.

🚀🌕 It still feels like a magical dream. I simply cannot believe that my song “Sleepyhead,” a @passion_pit cover I made 8 years ago, was used to wake up the crew aboard the Integrity @nasa ’s incredible spacecraft. The song was beamed up from Mission Control on the first morning of their @nasaartemis II mission, to set the tone for a wild day in space. I believe that @astro_reid was the one to pick my music for this moment and if so, I cannot thank you enough! I feel beyond honored to be a tiny little spec on this amazing mission to learn more about the moon, and the complexities of human and intergalactic life. I will sing towards the moon forever. Don’t ever give up on your dreams, there is pure magic out there.
