Known to each other as soul brothers; what started as naked admiration has become a 17 years’ running unbreakable kinship that would forever change their lives. Sharing values in politics, volunteering, cultural exchange, art and music cemented the chemistry that produces electrifying yd x DRKND b2b sets. Having developed a love for bass driven music together, their individual styles and fraternal camaraderie have been honed over almost two decades of deep and meaningful rave experiences and this shines through in their playfully serious dynamic.
I (Dylan) met these two at outlook festival in 2019. First green flag. I was in a desperate drunken search for my childhood best friend at the end of the night after deep medi stage takeover.
They took in my friend and were happy to find me an take him off their plate. After quickly finding out we were both from Vancouver, we made plans to hangout and the rest is history.
