“Untitled” Short Documentary (2024)
Last November, I had the opportunity to work as the DP on a short documentary, following a mother and her lovely daughter for two weeks as they prepared to move to the U.S. Through this experience, I gained valuable lessons in documentary filmmaking. I learned that building trust and exercising patience are crucial to capturing authentic moments. Interestingly, the most intimate footage emerged in the final days of production, reinforcing how essential it is to spend meaningful time with participants.
This project was an incredibly rewarding experience, and I can’t wait to see the final cut.
Hi, here is my Director & Cinematographer’s Reel.
(2024)
I’m looking forward to making more creative projects next year.
Hope to have a good rest of this year🙏🏻
Hi LA friends,
We’re thrilled to announce that 순정: SUNCHONG will have its premiere at NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (@nfmla ) in January, as part of the Festival & InFocus: Counter-Ageism program!
We’re grateful to participate in this program and to share the heartfelt story of our beloved Mr. Choe on screen. The program will feature other thought-provoking films on the theme of counter-ageism as well. If you’re passionate about addressing ageism, this screening is not to be missed!
